MODEL KA7EVH VENTLESS HOOD: 
The KA7EVH is a vent-less hood that replaces the need for a conventional hood The commercial kitchen's grease laden vapors are captured by the hood with a three stage filtration system. The hood must be installed and operated with the designed airflow, filters and construction in accordance with this manual. Hood top must never be used for storage as it will block air flow and inhibit proper operation.  * The KA7EVH hood is certified to NSF standard 2. It is ETL Listed to Standard UL-710B and EPA test method 202 when installed in accordance with installation instructions provided by Hobart, and National Fire Protection Association Standard “NFPA 96, Standard for Ventilation Control and Fire Protection of Commercial Cooking Operations.” This hood is not provided with an integral fire extinguishing system. Authorities having jurisdiction should be consulted as to the requirements for this equipment with respect to fire extinguishing systems such as the need for field installed systems in accordance with NFPA 96.
