Star PGT14IE Description
The Star PGT14IE panini press is built with grooved cast iron plates to leave grill marks on cooked food. It can evenly cook foods as thick as 3 inches, enabling users to cook burgers, chicken breasts, paninis, and wraps with one machine. During use, runoff collects in the grease drawer, which can be removed to simplify cleaning. This unit reaches temperatures of 175 to 550 degrees Fahrenheit, making it useful for warming, toasting, and cooking applications.
With its stainless steel exterior, the Star PGT14IE single panini press resists rust and corrosion from high-volume use. Its overall cook surface is 13.5 inches wide and 13.5 inches deep, enabling users to cook large items or several small items at one time. Moderated thermostatically, this unit's electronic temperature controls include a built-in timer to help users ensure uniform cook times from one batch to the next. This press rests on 2.5-inch metal legs to keep hot cook surfaces away from countertops and equipment stands, and the legs can be adjusted to ensure the unit remains level during operation.
